Responsible for installing and maintaining all mechanical equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment
' Operate boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps
' Control air handler units
' Monitor and programs the Energy Management Systems from the computer terminal
' Perform needed tests and adds the proper quantity of chemicals to the various system
' Maintain inventory of compressed gas cylinders and Liquid Oxygen.
' Install tanks as needed in the various departments of the hospital
' Assists in the maintaining for the parts and supply inventory for plant equipment and reports supply requirements
' Respond to emergency calls to all hospital departments including off campus sites and medical office buildings
' Perform other assigned preventative maintenance procedures in a timely manner
Education: | High school graduate or equivalent |
Experience: | Work requires 3 years of broad based experience in: changing small refrigeration appliance, changing compressors, belts and valves; and adjusting and calibrating temperature and humidity controls |
