Manage and coordinate the activities of nurse anesthetists engaged in administering anesthetics to patients during surgical procedures at three sites, including personnel and fiscal activities. Develop and maintain care delivery systems and a team to meet patients' care needs.
Plan for delivery of quality care for a specific patient population.
Ensure competently delivered care for patients and their families.
Develop staffing plan and schedule that meets patient care and departmental needs.
Monitor and evaluate balanced scorecards.
Assist leadership in the analysis of labor and supply budget utilization.
Work to improve departmental operations.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Education: | Master's degree from a school of nurse anesthesia approved by the State Accrediting Agency and the Council on Accreditation of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) required. |
Experience: | 5 years experience as a Nurse Anesthetist required. |
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification: | Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. BLS required. Certification by the AANA as a certified Nurse Anesthetist is required. |
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: | All necessary skills acquired through certification program. |
