Assist Directors in directing and coordinating activities related to revenue cycle activities to facilitate compliance and timely collection of patient accounts receivable.
Monitor compliance with Federal, State and local laws and regulations related to revenue cycle activities. Coordinate enhancement of processes and policies that support federal, state or local compliance policy mandates. Maintain liaison with PRMO and/or to ensure compliance with requirements and provide the highest level of service to patients and entities. Develop and recommend changes to operating policies and procedures. Develop and implement daily reconciliation and reporting model to track operations. Monitors unit's productivity and recommend improvements to related systems to enhance unit's productivity. Prepare daily reports and analyses, with appropriate recommendations to address adverse results or trends. Assist Directors in planning and scheduling work assignments to ensure proper distribution of workload. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Education: | Bachelors degree required. Masters degree preferred. |
Experience: | Eight years of experience in the healthcare industry is required |
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification: | Certifications in patient access or patient accounting preferred. |
