General Description of the Job Class

Direct and coordinate revenue cycle and project management across DUHS.

 

Duties and Responsibilities of this Level

Direct and coordinate analyses for special projects related to revenue/reimbursement.

Serve as liaison between hospital operations and the PRMO.

Direct and coordinate all project management activities including project identification, establishment of project goals/expectations, establishment of project teams, team facilitation, management of timelines/issues, and project completion/wrap-up/implementation. Provide data and prepare special reports to entity Administration as necessary.

Plan and schedule departmental work, ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate manning, space, and facilities for performance of duties.

Direct departmental personnel functions including, but not limited to, hiring, rate recommendations, promotions, transfers, and vacation schedules.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

 

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education:

Work generally requires organizational, analytical and communication skills normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree program.

 

Experience:

Work requires a minimum of seven years related business or administrative experience within the healthcare industry to acquire competence in applying project management, process improvement and revenue cycle skills; personnel practices; and coordination of major administrative functions.
