General Description of the Job Class
The Endoscopy Technician performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the patient. The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists nursing personnel and physicians by performing specific duties during Endoscopy procedures for patient care and in the transportation of patients.

Education
Experience
One to three years clinical certified nursing assistant experience highly preferred.
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification
Requires current listing as a Certified Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services with no substantiated findings and current ARC/AHA BLS certification.
