General Description of the Job Class
The Executive Assistant assumes the accountability and responsibility for the management of the administrative offices' administrative/clerical activities. The scope of the work encompasses a variety of clerical and secretarial duties, data gathering and analysis on computerized reports. In addition, this position maintains the contract files in the ARIBA system. This includes, but is not limited to, data entry into Excel, typing, word processing, simple accounting, filing, telephone etiquette, and preparation of forms. Must maintain high level of confidentiality at all times. Responsible to the Chief Executive Officer. Inter-relationships with physicians, department managers and hospital staff are essential.
Duties and Responsibilities of this Level
Required Qualifications at this Level
Education
High School Diploma required. Associate's degree in Business or Secretarial Science is preferred, but practical experience in lieu of degree accepted.
Experience
Five plus years executive administrative experience required. Previous experience in a medical environment highly desired.
