General Description of the Job Class
Performs chart review and monitoring of patient's charts for Core Measures quality initiatives. Screens for established indicators, enters data into computerized tracking systems, analyzes data for trends and reports statistics weekly. Maintains peer review database. Performs quality of care chart audits.
Duties and Responsibilities of this Level
Required Qualifications at this Level
Education
Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Experience
2 - 3 years related experience required. Experience and knowledge in performance improvement, quality assurance, core measures, health information, or education preferred. Computer experence required.
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification
Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
