Supervisory Responsibility:
General Description of the Job Class
Plans, directs and evaluates department functions, in accordance with established philosophy. Responsible for orientation, training, assessment, and management of personnel. Relates effectively with all shifts for continuity of care; maintains satisfactory relations with other departments and physicians; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities of this Level
Required Qualifications at this Level
Education
Nursing degree from an accredited university/college. Prefer Bachelor's degree in nursing or master's degree preferred in nursing or related field.
Experience
Minimum of 3 - 5 years recent relevant experience and 3 years management of a related clinical setting.
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification
Current North Carolina Nursing License or Compact Licensure Agreement, current BLS.
