Supervise and participate in Central Warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, shipping, dispatching and delivery of materials and supplies to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and material transportation.
Supervise and participate in Central Warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, shipping, dispatching and delivery of materials and supplies to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and material transportation.
Supervise and participate in the preparation and maintenance of documents to include, but not limited to, delivery manifests, stock pick tickets and credit memos for returned materials to ensure accurate records of activities.
Maintain liaison with customers and other related persons to communicate information related to deliveries, irregularities in shipments, shipment delays and other related matters.
Maintain schedules for deliveries, delivery routes as well as schedules of preventive maintenance on delivery truck fleet and equipment to ensure efficient operation of vehicles and equipment.
Compile operational data to assist in preparing reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and/or conclusions.
Supervise, coordinate and participate in special and scheduled warehouse material inventories as required.
Make work assignments for assigned personnel; train new employees. Recommend various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers and vacation schedules.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Experience: | Work requires 6 years of shipping, receiving, stocking and warehousing experience. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Work requires a valid North Carolina driver's license. |
