Occupational Summary

The EOHW Contact Tracer will perform a variety of duties associated with COVID case and case trace investigations.

Work Performed

Calling close contacts of newly diagnosed COVID-19 patients and communicating further actions to those individuals with professionalism and empathy

Collecting and recording highly sensitive information into a secure data base

Following approved call scripts to collect and share information with interviewees while maintaining adherence with policies and procedures

Provide contacts with approved information about quarantine procedures and if appropriate refer them to testing or social resources

Team Lead additional duties:

Train, mentor and supervise COVID Contact Tracing Team

Monitor the progress of all case investigations and daily tasks in Redcap

Develop training materials for new trainees and supervise onboarding

Manage positive COVID case investigation assignments and case trace investigations

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training:

Work requires a general business background generally equivalent to a bachelor's degree

 

Experience:

No experience required; 1-2 years of call center or customer service experience preferred.

OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

 

Skills:

Experience with RedCap preferred
