Assist the Director in providing the School with professional fund raising assistance through consultation, development and preparation of fund raising proposals; assist in the implementation of projects and programs.
Work with staffs at the various centers that comprise the School to set objectives and goals, develop strategies to meet fiscal goals and operating needs and identify fund raising needs and priorities for the individual centers.
Assist the Director in developing strategies for major gifts solicitations; identify, cultivate and solicit gifts from prospective donors, maintaining liaison with University Development; assist in expanding the Schools relationships with corporations and foundations to include participating in the preparation and presentation of funding proposals.
Develop and supervise the maintenance of a donor tracking system; assist with identification of major prospects and donors to be maintained on tracking system and provide up to date information on prospects, donors and gifts; generate reports showing status of gifts, amounts proposed, goals and other information related to the fund raising efforts of the School.
Assist the Director in determining fiscal requirements for the function; assist in preparing budgetary recommendations. Prepare reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Education/Training: | Work requires communications, analytical and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program. |
Experience: | Work requires five years experience in alumni affairs, public relations, fund raising, sales and promotions, marketing, student activities or a related field in order to acquire skills necessary to administer, coordinate and/or participate in general fund raising activities and proposal development.
