The LIVE FOR LIFE Nurse Manager position oversees the Health Risk Assessment and Screening program and supervises the screening team. This includes ensuring the highest possible level of participation, results achievement and customer satisfaction in the delivery of programs and services is achieved.
Supervision/Staffing
Supervises the Health Risk Assessment and Screening team and complies with all operational, quality, safety and service standards. Oversees site scheduling and coordinates appropriate staffing to meet budget and business plan metrics.
Provides back up staffing to team as needed.
Communicates with HealthCheck team on an on-going basis to ensure the team is up to date on current LIVE FOR LIFE program, processes and protocols.
Submits employment forms and payroll records accurately and according to established policies.
Data /Reporting/Compliance
Monitors the quality of the screening process by monitoring customer satisfaction and evaluating staff performance on an on-going basis.
Works with LIVE FOR LIFE Manager to ensure contract compliance.
Tracks participant and program data for measurement of individual and program goal achievement, outcomes and results; creates outcomes focused management reports based on the identified business plan goals and objectives.
Manages all Health Risk Assessment and Screening data management activities at the worksite, ensuring the proper storage, retention and confidentiality all data collected in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
Oversees the collection of the biometric data and ensures that established procedures are followed correctly and efficiently by all staff.
Audits records for completeness and accuracy of data to ensure program quality.
Completes program reporting as needed (includes established monthly and annual reports and ad-hoc requests)
Financial
Works with LIVE FOR LIFE Manager to oversee Health Risk Assessment and screening expenses to meet established budget goals. Ensures expenditures are made in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
Program Planning
Contributes to the yearly strategic business plan to identify program/ service offerings and initiatives, targeted outcomes and marketing strategy to meet program objectives.
Maintains inventory of screening supplies and health education materials. Assures lab is compliant with CLIA requirements. Ensures availability and maintenance of screening equipment.
Conducts stress management presentations and oversees the stress website.
Contributes to the planning and implementation of health management programs, health education activities, motivational programs and special events to maximize program engagement.
Other duties as assigned.
Education/Training: | Work requires a Registered nurse with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Current RN license to practice in North Carolina. Current CPR certification required. |
Experience: | Work requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in worksite health promotion. Health coaching experience preferred. |
Skills: | Strong leadership, team management, interpersonal and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others. Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands. Ability to be flexible with changing priorities and demands. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including at minimum Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to work effectively with all levels of individuals both within and outside the organization. Proficiency in behavior change models. |
