Assist the Dean, Duke University School of Law in such duties as may be assigned or delegated; direct the administration of assigned functional areas; recommend policies and procedures.
Assist the Dean, Duke University School of Law in such duties as may be assigned or delegated; direct the planning and administration of assigned functional areas such as alumni, development, admissions, or international programs; develop, recommend, and implement policies and procedures. Plan and preside over professional seminars and conferences sponsored by the School of Law; prepare professional, public and alumni information releases for the Law School.
Establish and maintain contacts with outside organizations such as government agencies, professional organizations, law firms, and other colleges, universities and law schools to aid in achieving the overall objectives of the Law School.
Prepare reports and analyses for the Dean and others setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
Determine fiscal requirements and prepare budgetary recommendations; monitor, verify and reconcile expenditure of budgeted funds.
Recommend various personnel functions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers and vacation schedules. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
