Administer and interpret Trinity College academic policies for undergraduate students and faculty; contribute to the development of academic policies and programs; administer academic programs; provide academic counseling and advising to students. The Academic Dean classification is utilized for both Assistant and Associate Deans of Trinity College.
Assistant Dean
Monitors student progress toward the degree. The Assistant Dean provides accurate information on the curriculum and academic policies and regulations to students, academic advisors, and faculty.
The Assistant Dean contributes to the development of new and revised academic policies and programs.
Associate Dean
Administer Trinity College academic policies and interpret them to undergraduate students and faculty; contribute to the development of academic policies and programs; administer academic programs; provide specialized academic counseling and advising to students.
Often Directs an office integral to extending the academic mission of Trinity, and will demonstrate significant leadership within the college or university.

Education/Training: | Ph.D. or equivalent |
Experience: | Work requires three years of experience in academic administration or a related setting to become familiar with academic policies, programs and regulations necessary to coordinate related services and activities. At the end of the fifth year of service an Academic Dean shall be considered for promotion. Promotion decisions are based on established policies and procedures for Academic Deans.
