The Assistant Vice President oversees major services, programming and events in Student Affairs relevant to the co curricular and residential life of undergraduate and graduate students and in support of the overall mission of the Division and the goals of the University.
Direct the provision of services and programs in Student Affairs.
Serve as a member of the Vice President's executive planning group.
Manage Division resources including financial, facilities, personnel, etc.
Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships for Student Affairs.
Oversee response to student needs, questions, concerns and complaints.
Handle special requests and policy exceptions from students, staff and alumni.
Oversee special projects on behalf of the VP/Division.
Direct various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers and vacation schedules. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
