The Quad Advisor is a professional academic advisor who supports the success of first- and second-year students in Trinity College of Arts & Sciences. Assigned to a residential quad, the advisor provides guidance on curriculum planning, academic policies, and institutional resources, helping students build a strong foundation for their undergraduate experience.
Advise first- and second-year students on course selection, Trinity curriculum requirements, and major exploration.
Help students understand academic policies, timelines, and degree requirements.
Foster meaningful academic engagement and refer students to relevant campus resources.
Support quad-based programming such as orientation sessions, academic workshops, and peer mentorship initiatives.
Maintain advising records and monitor student progress.
Collaborate with other advisors, faculty, and campus partners to ensure coordinated student support.
Participate in training, professional development, and team-based advising initiatives.
May teach a .5 credit course as part of the residential experience
