Occupational Summary

Overall, provides leadership in developing and executing digital strategies and plans that engage internal and external stakeholders, drive preference and demonstrate DCRI industry leadership.

Work Performed

Develops and implements digital strategies in support of DCRI trials, studies and projects, including digital patient recruitment and retention, and digital communities in support of engaging patients and other key healthcare stakeholders.

Deploys DCRI websites, digital and social media policies, procedures, and guidelines to govern digital activities.

Oversees strategy and implementation for all DCRI digital assets, including but not limited to, DCRI.org, the DCRI intranet and trial and study-specific sites.

Counsels senior management on digital strategies that support business goals and objectives to drive growth, excellence and innovation in digital-focused activity and for the organization overall.

Works with the DCRI Communications team to develop programs that educate and inform internal stakeholder to increase understanding of digital strategy.

Directs appropriate uses of new digital media to enhance corporate communication and company reputation.

Brings deep knowledge of digital and social media tools to optimize DCRI and funders digital assets, including analytic programs and understanding of search engine optimization, as examples.

Manages analytic programs and provides reporting of analytics in support of each DCRI digital asset, and for both organization and funder sites.

Evaluates and manages external vendor and partner relationships, contracts and technologies.

Ensures digital strategies and technologies are in alignment and support of DCRIs technology infrastructure.

Reports results of digital strategies and initiatives to DCRI executive team and other line management.

Prepares and administers yearly digital strategy and budget.

Manages staff in accordance with organizations policies and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employee; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.

Approves actions on human resources matters.

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training

REQUIRES A BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN BUSINESS, MARKETING, COMMUNICATION OR RELATED FIELD.

Experience

WORK GENERALLY REQUIRES 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN WEB MANAGEMENT, CORPORATE COMMUNICATION AND/OR MARKETING.

OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
