Occupational Summary

Research and the development of research products (grants and publications), both individually and in collaboration with Institute faculty and partners. Preparing institutional reports, grant applications, and publicly accessible communications based on faculty research in the form of working papers, op-eds, etc. Working with Foundation relations in the service of specific research projects. Forging partnerships between the Institute and policy-makers, think tanks, non-profits, and businesses that align with research trajectories at the Institute Teaching an undergraduate course depending on area of expertise and needs of the Institute.

Work Performed

Oversee game day operations.

Coordinate the hiring and training of game-day personnel.

Manage the hours worked by internal and external game operations staff.

Create and maintain organizational charts and job descriptions for the department.

Work closely with the Business and Human Resource offices to resolve all payroll and personnel issues.

Create and maintain the operations manual for game operations.

Interpret and advise coaches and staff members on policies and procedures that pertain to game operations.

Ensure a positive experience at Athletics events.

Serve as point of contact for facilities management, external relations, law enforcement and concessions.

Make personnel and fiscal recommendations to the Associate Director of Athletics.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training

Work requires analytical, communications and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program.

Experience

Work requires one year of experience in equipment management, event management, or other directly related role.
