Occupational Summary

Establishes and executes a vision for the delivery of information and analytics platforms and solutions to the DCRI key stakeholders, including internal staff, partners, and clients. To achieve, this position will develop and implement processes to identify managements intelligence needs; gather related information and analyze for relevance, and provide timely reports based on the analyses.

Work Performed

Proactively engage with functional and business stakeholders and IT to generate high quality and accurate deliverables.

Developing, packaging and delivering new service offerings related to business intelligence that encompass clearly defined value propositions and defensible profitability models.

Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery.

Oversee the ongoing development and operations of an operational data store and enterprise data warehouse.

Oversee ongoing development and operations of a business intelligence architecture that enables fact-based decision making and ad hoc analysis and insight generation.

Communicate requirements to BI developers and IT to facilitate development.

Maintain communications with direct contacts used for ongoing monitoring of the external environment and project-related research.

Develop an understanding of each departments role within the organization; maintain an advanced knowledge of their needs in research to remain competitive.

Maintain an advanced knowledge of trends affecting the industry in all relevant areas. Identify intelligence needs of each functional group.

Gather information on project-related research; analyze information and produce reports based on analysis. Handle ad-hoc analysis as requested by leadership.

Leverage advanced statistical tools to drive metric correlations across key data sources.

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training

Work requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.

Experience

Work requires a minimum of five years experience in financial management,cost accounting or a field directly related to specialized area of assignment.

OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Proven ability to set goals, develop and execute strategies and track/measure results

Exceptional critical thinking both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
