Develop and implement cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies for donors and families, working with academic leadership, senior administrators, fellow gift officers, faculty, volunteers, financial and legal advisors as appropriate to maximize collaboration and success. Cultivate and solicit top tier prospects with whom relationships are well established or with whom special expertise or experience is valuable in all phases of the fundraising cycle, with a focus on high capacity prospects capable of gifts of $5M+ or more associated with the School of Law; close major and principal gifts and contribute significantly to the School of Law's and University's Campaign fundraising goals.

Advise on partnerships, resources, projects and initiatives designed to position the School of Law and the University for the highest levels of campaign and fundraising success, including but not limited to shaping the School of Law's campaign priorities, drafting case statements, preparing academic leaders, volunteer leaders and alumni and development staff to be effective campaign advocates, setting the School of Law's campaign goals, strategies and benchmarks towards success, designing and implementing matching challenge programs, and designing and supporting a representative and highly engaged campaign volunteer structure.

Support design or improvement of systems, practices and protocols to ensure accurate, effective, responsive and productive use of philanthropic funds for the benefit of the School of Law and Duke University. Coordinate and encourage operational and resource partnerships to maximize campus collaborations and partnerships.
