Occupational Summary

Direct and coordinate the activities of the Duke University women's golf team and provide instruction to students and other individuals and groups.

Work Performed

Provide direction, coordination and instruction to the Duke University women's golf team; serve as Assistant Golf Professional to include organizing and teaching both private and group golf lessons.

Recruit prospective student athletes. Insure compliance with both NCAA and University policies.

Counsel team members in academic, disciplinary and personal matters; consult with faculty for resolution of problems as required. Monitor the condition of the golf course and interface with the Director, Golf Course to make recommendations or convey information.

Represent the Duke University Athletic Department in professional, civic, charity and alumni events.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
