Occupational Summary

Coordinate and participate in activities involved in the care, maintenance and preservation of organs and harpsichords according to the terms of the Ethel Sieck Carrabina agreement.

Work Performed

Maintain tonal well being of tracker organs and the B. N. Duke Memorial Organ including adjustments of voicing of reed pipes and large scale review and tonal restoration of organ fronts.

Conduct normal maintenance and tuning of organs and harpsichords. Prepare the B. N. Duke Memorial Organ for use in musical performances including adjusting key actions and tuning.

Repair and construct reproduction copies of organ and harpsichord parts including parts required for eighteenth century instruments.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
