Occupational Summary

Assist the Dean of Trinity College and Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education with daily activities, special projects, development efforts and institutional planning in Trinity College and Arts and Sciences.

Work Performed

Assist the Dean of Trinity College and Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education with daily activities to include responding to issues addressed to the Dean, assisting the Dean with setting agendas, meeting with Trinity staff, representing the College at functions and projects and managing crisis management and damage control.

Serve as liaison to the Associate Dean for Development on College priorities; assess suitability of new projects for external support; assist in the preparation of grant proposals for projects; serve as liaison to Office of Research Support concerning overhead and federal funding; help set agenda for Board of Visitors meetings.

Serve on College committees and help with College priorities to include teaching enhancement, science for non scientists and introductory courses; coordinate and implement special projects such as Science Day.

Prepare reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusion.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
