Occupational Summary

Coordinate, monitor and supervise assigned operational, merchandising, personnel and customer service activities of the eSTORE and Athletic Clothing/Gift Concessions.

Work Performed

Coordinate, implement and monitor the marketing activities of the eSTORE and Athletic Clothing/Gift Concessions to include product selection, advertising, merchandise presentation and appropriate communication of all advertising activities to store personnel.

Assist buyers in determining stock requirements for the eSTORE and Athletic Clothing/Gift Concessions; prepare specifications for merchandise purchases; order merchandise based on rate of sale to maintain required inventory and satisfy customer demand.

Assist with designated activities of merchandising in the eSTORE and Athletic Clothing/Gift Concessions to include merchandise presentation and display, product selection, monitoring of uniform pricing, determination of retail store prices, coordination of routine merchandise inventories and price adjustment control.

Review vendor files for comparisons of vendor terms, pricing and product quality; make recommendations to General Manager.

Assist with the development and completion of annual budgets for the eSTORE and Athletic Clothing/Gift Concessions.

Assist in the formulation of loss prevention, operating, merchandising and personnel policies and procedures for designated areas.

Develop and coordinate the work schedules for eSTORE and Athletic Clothing/Gift Concessions; advise the General Manager of current labor requirements and essential changes; resolve internal labor issues and scheduling inconsistencies.

In the absence of the General Manager, assume responsibility for overall operations.

Recommend various personnel actions relating to stores operation including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisal, promotions, transfers and vacation schedules.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training

Work requires communications, analytical and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of an associate's degree or equivalent program. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Experience

Work requires four years experience in retail or concessions operations, merchandising or related business to acquire skills necessary to assist in managing, planning, and controlling costs and profits within a high volume, multifaceted retail enterprise.
