Occupational Summary

Perform detailed analytical and statistical review of investment performance at the investment, manager, asset class and portfolio levels, with primary focus on non traditional investments; make recommendations regarding the propriety of such investments in accordance with institutional and/or departmental guidelines.

Work Performed

Perform detailed analytical and evaluative review of specific investments, historic market and portfolio performance; determine whether further consideration by senior management of Investment Committee is appropriate.

Generate investment performance and asset allocation information in formats maximizing usefulness of data.

Assist in analysis of contemplated modifications of investment policy and/or asset allocation; set forth data which support or refute the desirability of such recommendations.

Coordinate the maintenance of manager/partnership performance database; compile 'fact sheets', reports and other data as needed.

Coordinate the maintenance of internal files on managers, partnerships, or investment firms; ensure files are updated regularly.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training

Work requires analytical skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management Science or a related quantitatively oriented field.

Experience

Work requires the ability to analyze and evaluate investment performance generally acquired through one year of experience in the investment or a related field.
