Occupational Summary
Assist the Associate Dean and Director of MBA Programs in the administration of the MBA programs, with primary responsibility for coordinating activities which support students and faculty at the Fuqua School of Business to ensure MBA students are provided with appropriate co curricular and extra curricular support and advice.
Work Performed
Coordinate and implement various activities related to the registration of students, including pre registration and drop/add sessions; plan, develop and implement written materials relevant to these activities.
Maintain liaison with the University Registrars Office to ensure timely and accurate transmission of registration related data such as course schedules, enrollments and grades, and to resolve discrepancies; represent the Fuqua School in developing and implementing appropriate systems and procedures with the University Registrars Office and with University administration.
Coordinate activities involved in the establishment and maintenance of student records, ensuring completeness, accuracy and adherence to University and School standards; review records to certify graduation requirements are met; prepare related lists.
Coordinate and/or assist in the administration of student services processes such as core course exemption process, teacher course evaluation process and tutoring programs.
Coordinate and/or assist in the planning and implementation of various student related activities to include graduation, orientations and MBA Association sponsored events; serve as advisor to student organizations and groups; serve as source of academic and personal counseling for MBA students.
Work with student leadership to assist in scheduling, enhancing and delivering high quality student programs that are related to the curriculum, as well as those which are not.
Assist in developing relevant policies and procedures along with the Associate Dean and Director of MBA Programs and the MBA Programs Advisory Committee.
Plan and implement systems to manage student records and related data; maintain liaison with Fuqua School Computer Education Center in system design and modification.
Compile and analyze statistics for administrative utilization; prepare reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions; prepare and/or revise publications; respond to external inquiries regarding Fuqua students, student policies and student activities.
Interview prospective MBA students and represent the Fuqua School at admissions related functions as requested.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Required Qualifications at this Level
Education/Training
Work requires communications, organizational and analytical skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree.
Experience
Work requires two years experience in academic administration, student registration records or a related setting to become familiar with regulations, policies and procedures related to student services activities.
