Occupational Summary

Responsible for implementation of ergonomics programs across the entire institution and for providing overall direction of the ergonomics programs.

Work Performed

Design, write and maintain course development plans including writing trainers guides and participant manuals.

Regularly communicates with leadership and relevant sub groups to coordinate training needs analysis, course development, course delivery and course evaluation projects.

Provide day to day coaching, just in time education, and support for course development team. Maintain and monitor course development, delivery, and administration work flow process as it relates to course offerings.

Alert supervisor of any variances in plan.

Plan and complete projects independently or collaboratively as assigned; participate and contribute as a team member in cross functional projects; present deliverables to senior team member.

Train trainers such as line managers and outside consultants who may facilitate a program for clients to ensure quality and consistency of learning experiences.

Evaluate knowledge gained in a way that supports improvements, helps to enable outstanding performance and helps to continuously improve service to clients.

Communicate with supervising manager and other managers as needed to provide training status reports.

Review the work of data management subject matter experts, collaborate with them, and provide immediate feedback.

Ensure compliance with SOPs.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training

BS in Ergonomics, Engineering, or related field (MS Preferred)

Experience

Seven years of experience in Ergonomics, Engineering, or Health and Safety field.

Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Presenter and other online training tools Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently & to independently set priorities. Strong communication skills an interdisciplinary team setting. Ability to use interactive computer programs and quickly learn new applications.
