Occupational Summary

Direct admissions operations for the Professional School and oversee the development and implementation of policies, new processes and technologies.

Work Performed

Manage daily operations and work flow of the admissions operation.

Assess needs and identify new technology needs; work with departmental School Computer Project Manager for all technology implementation and maintenance. Participate in negotiation of contract with outside vendors.

Prepare reports and analyses concerning status of admissions and matriculation decisions; direct data gathering for annual surveys; project budgetary needs of Enrollment Services Office.

Monitor progress of all admissions decisions; supervise tracking of offers and transcripts, etc.

Develop and evaluate policies and procedures for admissions function.

Represent the School on University committees as assigned by the Associate Dean.

Direct various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, transfers, promotions and vacation schedules.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training

Work requires a BA/BS in Business Administration or other related field.

Experience

Work requires four years experience in enrollment services, admissions, higher education, or other related field.
