Occupational Summary

Responsible for the daily management of enrolled student records, registration and graduation.

Work Performed

Manage daily operation and workflow for enrolled student records functions and determine priorities for task completion.

Supervise and train staff assisting with the maintenance of enrolled student records. Serve as liaison for students and departments seeking information of registration tuition and other enrolled student issues.

Respond to requests for information regarding enrolled students from the Dean and other offices at Duke using PeopleSoft and other data management systems.

Serve as the School liaison for joint degree programs and monitor requirements, adjust registration for each student as needed to determine and disburse tuition funds.

Oversee accuracy and confidentiality of student records and supervise scanning of student files into data storage systems.

Supervise the updating of student records in PeopleSoft with information pertaining to degrees earned, thesis and dissertation titles, committees and exam completion.

Serve as the records liaison for all Duke schools and central administration offices.

Hire and supervise work-study students.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training

Work requires a Bachelor's degree

Experience

Work requires a minimum of three years experience in administration of student records or similar function at the college or university level.

OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
