Occupational Summary

Responsible for consulting with appropriate stakeholders in creating eBusiness processes including policies, standards, contracts, relationships and regulatory requirements necessary for enterprise eBusiness infrastructure.

Work Performed

Establish policies and guidelines to be adopted at the enterprise level regarding eBusiness processes.

Serve on enterprise-wide committees to oversee web services as appropriate; consult with Associate CIO and Senior IT Director regarding issues and challenges at the institutional level.

Serve as a consultant to customers regarding eBusiness solutions

Lead the deployment of advanced information technology solutions on campus as they related to eBusiness solutions.

Provide analytical support for eBusiness-related activities spanning all related functions including strategy, operations alliance, customer experience, marketing and technology. Establish, plan and implement the overall policies and goals for the unit's marketing strategy on the web, ensuring that such goals fit into existing Duke-wide web guidelines.

Responsible for functional testing prior to system implementation; troubleshoots, tests and oversees the launch of new eBusiness applications.

Work extensively with enterprise-wide customers in support of both their business processes and electronic business communication and transactional needs.

Manage strategic relationships with content, regulatory, legal and banking constituents. Establish standards with development team on implementing user interface standards, system usability guidelines, and GUI prototypes.

Work closely with application services to convey current and future eBusiness opportunities; explain current business practices to generate effective eBusiness strategy or approach.

Provide reports and summaries regarding eBusiness projects to leadership. Support project management tasks as required.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training

BS degree in Business Administration or related field

Experience

Work requires a minimum of 10 years related business or administrative experience.
