Occupational Summary

Provide program planning, administration and management of projects and initiatives that implement the Institute's strategic plan.

Work Performed

Plan, coordinate and implement a variety of initiatives and programs.

Represent the Institute with local and national constituencies.

Research and prepare grants; assist Director in fundraising activities. Determine fiscal requirements, make projections and prepare budgetary recommendations.

Supervise various personnel actions including but not limited to hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers and vacation schedules.

Provide direction, supervision and support to Institute staff.

Assist Director in such duties as may be assigned or delegated and assume duties in his/her absence.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this classification.
