Occupational Summary
Assist Campus Landscape Architect and University Architect to provide coordination of architectural landscape services in support of individual University projects.
Work Performed
Develop schematic studies, preliminary plans, working drawings and specifications for small to medium scale landscaping projects as necessary.
Assist Campus Landscape Architect with landscape design guidelines, project design review and planning initiatives.
Produce designs and documentation.
Design and prepare detailed electronic (CAD) working plans, electronic layouts, charts and / or scale drawings for complex projects.
Update and maintain the digital master plan graphic.
Aid department in computer graphics, plotting and map making. Update and maintain the department webpage with current project information.
Provide up-to-date sustainability information to Campus Landscape Architects or Project Managers
Assist Campus Landscape Architect with project management of larger jobs in construction.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Required Qualifications at this Level
Education/Training
Work requires an Associate's degree in landscape architecture, horticulture or related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience
Three or more years of experience in a horticulture, turfgrass or landscape maintenance leadership role with increasing levels of responsibilities.
OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
