Occupational Summary

Direct day-to-day operations of Annual Fund Programs, including fundraising, communications, or administration. Responsible for leadership of program, management and deployment of staff, and working with Annual Fund leadership to advance the success of the various annual giving programs.

Work Performed

Develop and implement strategic plans, annual operating plans, and programmatic plans.

Plan, direct, and administer day-to-day operations of the program, including setting goals, preparing reports and presentations, and budgeting.

Manage staff, including hiring and performance management.

Work with volunteers, committees, and other individuals committed to the goals of the Annual Fund.

Serve as a senior leader of the Annual Fund team.

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training

Bachelor's degree required.

Experience

A minimum of five years of experience in higher education advancement, marketing and communications, and other field that involves strategic planning, program development, and management.
