Bio:
I have been a Respiratory Therapist for fourteen years and in my current position for the past six. I am employed in Department of Respiratory Care Services at Duke University Hospital as an Adult Clinical Team Lead. During my time at Duke, I have had many opportunities to grow personally and professionally. These prospects came in the form of writing and publishing abstracts and a manuscript, speaking at local and national level conferences, and providing education to the multidisciplinary staff. This has presented the chance to establish a rapport with my colleagues, has allowed me to achieve the level of professional success, and has been a platform from which to enhance my occupational goals.

During my career, I have had the honor to work with various leaders and colleagues in the field of respiratory and pulmonary medicine, which has allowed me to further my base knowledge and construct a robust skill set. From patient management to advanced mechanical ventilation and ECMO, my resume contains these and many other attributes that help set me apart. This, coupled with management experience only increases my marketability and presents the prospect of continued personal and professional development.
