Bio:
Heather Parnell is currently a Research Project Manager in the Duke Center for Health Policy and Inequalities Research (CHPIR), part of the Duke Global Health Institute. Heather joined Duke in 2007 as a Master of Social Work intern and was hired on as a Senior Research Aide in 2008. She was quickly promoted to Project Coordinator and that led to her current role as Research Project Manager at CHPIR. In this role, she oversees all aspects of multiple intervention and evaluation research projects. She is responsible for oversight of budgets, IRB, training, research compliance, data collection and analysis, as well as various dissemination activities including presentations and manuscripts.
