Bio:
Richard Outten grew up in Florida where he graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Software Engineering. After moving to North Carolina he came to work at Duke University in OIT. During his time here, he's had the opportunity to contribute to a number of systems at Duke including ACES, Gifts, Scholars@Duke, Duke Alumni Network, and more. When he isn't staring at a computer screen he likes to spend time with his wife, three children, and golden retriever. He also coaches youth basketball and enjoys mountain biking.
