Bio:
DeAnne started her career at Duke as the Assistant Director of Advancement Services at the Fuqua School of Business in 2003. In 2017, she became Fuqua's Director of Advancement Services. Her responsibilities include supporting the Development & Alumni Relations team and school administration with data, reports, donation tracking, process procedures, and fundraising information.

She received her bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Prior to joining Duke, DeAnne began her professional career in the health care industry at PhyAmerica Physician Services. In her 13-year tenure with the company, DeAnne started in the marketing department before transitioning to an operations position and quickly learned that this is where she belongs. She has stayed on the operations side ever since.

DeAnne is a native of Durham. She enjoys both the beach and the mountains, spending time with her family and friends, and the four seasons that North Carolina offers with spring being her favorite.
