Bio:
Sarah leads University Development's nine-person Prospect Research Team, where she executes strategies, programs, and partnerships to grow the size and value of the prospect pool. With a research and consulting background, she enjoys analyzing systems to develop strategy.
Highlights from 10 years of consulting experience include delivering systems thinking and adaptive strategy support to USAID, Creative Associates, the Skoll Foundation, the Open Societies Foundations, and Humanity United; providing research and program theory support to the Walton Family Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, NWF, EDF, and USDA; and performing field-based research and analysis for UNFAO, CGIAR, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, with significant engagements in Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, the UK, and Nepal.
Sarah holds an MA in international relations from Yale and a BA in political science from UNC Asheville. She lives in Durham with her partner, son, daughter, two cats, one dog, and a partridge in a pear tree.
