Bio:
Tom is an IT Manager within DHTS Information Security Office, focusing on Security Architecture and Security Tools for Duke Health. He manages a team of three Information Security Analysts whose primary focus is Network and Endpoint Security, Cloud Security and overall IT Infrastructure Security projects. In this role, Tom oversees the deployment, management and maintenance of Security tools that protect Duke Information Technology systems at all of Duke University Health System and School of Medicine. Tom has 11 years of experience in Information Technology working at Duke Health, with previous experience in Security Incident Response and Electronic Health Record Systems Administration. He has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from State University of New York at Buffalo. He also holds a certification as an Offensive Security Certified Professional from Offensive Security. Outside of Duke Health, Tom enjoys spending time with Friends and Family, Boating, Mountain biking and working on DIY projects.
