Bio:
Erin Bartels is the Director, Communications and Donor Relations, at Duke's Fuqua School of Business with primary responsibility for the school's alumni communications, donor relations, and annual giving programs. In this role, she ensures that Fuqua's alumni and donors are well informed about happenings at the school and ways to get involved, actively engaged in fueling the school's most immediate needs through the Fuqua Annual Fund, and shown the impact of their generous philanthropic gifts. She joined Fuqua's Development and Alumni Relations team in 2006 and has served alumni and donors in a variety of roles.

Prior to coming to Duke, Erin worked in development and communications for The Kingsbury Center in Washington, D.C., and the DC/Maryland Easter Seals affiliate. She began her career as an investigative journalist at the Center for Public Integrity in Washington, D.C. She holds a BA from the University of Notre Dame in government and international studies.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband, her teenage daughter, and her large and lovable dog. She also enjoys cooking, baking, reading, and home renovation projects.
