Bio:
Carmella has worked at Duke since 2010. As the director of employer relations for Career Services at the Sanford School of Public Policy, she spends her days establishing and maintaining relationships with alumni and employers, learning about new opportunities for students, and creating ways for students and employers to connect. Before Duke, Carmella worked for a non-profit that served older adults, The New School in NYC, an international work-exchange organization, and taught English in Germany.

Some of her favorite things to do are travel without concrete plans, make soup, read novels that take place in other countries, go camping, draw comics, and build things that are slightly crooked. She has one spouse, two elementary-school-aged daughters, and one bunny rabbit.

Most recently, a Presidential Award winner, Duke University.
