Bio:
Sarah Dunn Phillips is the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy's Associate Director for Education. In her role, supports the Center's rapidly growing portfolio of educational programs. She works with the Education Team to conceptualize and execute educational initiatives to further our mission of training future health policy leaders. She collaborates with the Deputy Director of Academics and the Faculty Directors to provide oversight on all academic and experiential programs, supervises the program coordinators supporting our educational initiatives, furthers our student engagement and mentorship as well as faculty engagement. Sarah serves as a liaison for our education programs both within the Center and across campus, and works to identify and implement joint-educational programs with other Schools and Departments to pursue courses, certificates, tracks, and experiential learning opportunities. Sarah is a mentor for Duke Students and a key liaison for them to promote and advise the Center on their health policy education interests.
Outside of her passion for education, Sarah enjoys spending time with her wife Bailey, daughter Kiley, and two tenacious pups Yaz and Chet. She spends a lot of time enjoying the outdoors, gardening and camping in their old Volkswagon Ruth Vagonsburg.
