Bio:
Aris Marton is the Director of Retail Operations for Duke University Dining. She began her work in this
position in 2016 by assisting with the opening of the award-winning Richard H. Brodhead Center for Campus
Life, which houses 13 dining venues. She oversees 31 on-campus operations, six Merchants on Points partners,
seven food trucks and on-campus catering. This year Aris is excited to be a co-advisor for the Graduate
School Food Pantry and proud to be a member of the Duke University Food Security Action Team.
Prior to moving to Durham, NC, Aris spent her career in the tourism industry in Orlando, FL, specializing in
food and beverage operations at some of the country's largest theme parks. She has also worked in various
roles within conferences and event services during her career. She holds her B.S. and M.S. degrees in
Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Central Florida Rosen College of Hospitality
Management.
