Bio:
I started at Duke University in 2007 as the undergraduate program coordinator at the Duke University Marine Lab in Beaufort, NC. Today, I'm the Director for Educational programs and help lead the overall academic unit at the Marine Lab and I'm specifically responsible for the undergraduate program including the new majors in Marine Science and Conservation. In case you didn't know, the Marine Lab campus was founded in 1938 and is a multidisciplinary research campus whose mission is to be at the forefront of understanding marine environmental systems, their conservation, and their governance through leadership in research, training, communication, and application. We are a campus of the Nicholas School of the Environment and an incredible part of Duke University.

I'm originally from Batavia, IL and have a BS in Media Studies from the University of Illinois (Urbana Champaign) and a MA degree in Higher Education Administration from SUNY Stony Brook. When not at work you can find me outdoors, usually on a boat with my family, or in the company of one of our many animals.
