Bio:
Minal Shah is the Associate Director of Quality Management for DCRI's Quality Assurance group. Minal
joined the DCRI QA team in 2016 and has since served in positions in Quality Assurance, Technology and
Data Solutions Group, and departmental leadership.
Minal has over 20 years of experience, which includes non-profit management, quality oversight
responsibilities for the laboratory, laboratory accreditation and regulatory compliance, risk management,
quality assurance, and performance improvement. Minal's clinical research experience includes quality
management of observational studies and Phase II-IV clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas (e.g.,
cardiovascular, infectious diseases, oncology, neurology, nephrology, gastroenterology, etc.) as well as
experience partnering with AROs, CROs, and regulatory authorities such as the FDA.
Minal is passionate about the healthcare industry and takes pride in knowing that the Quality Assurance
Department plays a major role in steering the DCRI Mission: To develop and share knowledge that improves
the care of patients around the world through innovative clinical research.
Minal holds a BS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences (University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ) and
Microbiology (India). She is a Certified Medical Technologist through the American Society of Clinical
Pathologists, MT (ASCP), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB), and
Project Management Professional (PMP).
Minal enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, reading, and doing different forms of
art activities.
