Bio:
Tracie Randolph is a professional Interior Designer with a Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina
University. She holds the distinction of being the first African American graduate of the University's
accredited Interior Design program. With a career that spans over two decades in interior architecture and
design, she has honed her skills in corporate, higher-education and healthcare design. For the past 17
years, Tracie has been dedicated to the service of Duke University and Health System. She first began her
career at Duke as an Interior Designer with the Facility Planning, Design & Construction team. Most
recently, she has transitioned into the role of Manager, Facility Design and Arts & Health program at Duke
Raleigh Hospital, where her responsibilities include integrating the arts to improve the functionality and
aesthetics of the built environment for patient care.
