Bio:
I started as a security officer with Duke University Police in 2010. I was sent to Basic Law Enforcement Training in 2012 and was commissioned as police officer in 2013. I worked in the patrol division as a patrol officer, a First Sergeant, and a Lieutenant until June of 2023. In June of 2023, I was transferred to the Support side of the department where I currently serve as the Professional Standards and Training and Recruiting Lieutenant. I also work closely with our Crime Prevention Unit assisting with our Citizen's Police Academy, student outreach events, Coffee with a Cop, etc. "We are guardians of a community of world- class education, research and healthcare and serve to prevent violence, reduce fear, and build relationships".

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Criminology with a minor is Psychology from North Carolina State University in 2009. I received my Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from Liberty University in 2020.
