Bio:
Camille Jackson leads the development and execution of strategic communication plans to promote OIT's programs and services among Duke's faculty, staff, and students. With her expertise in digital and social media platforms, Camille effectively educates and empowers non-technological audiences by creating engaging messaging.

Camille's career at Duke spans 16 years, beginning in the Office of News and Communications where she helped promote faculty research in the humanities and social sciences. She later served in various roles, managing communications, marketing, and event planning for academic units like The Samuel Dubois Cook Center on Social Equity, the Duke Council on Race and Ethnicity, and the Department of African & African American Studies. Camille has also led university-wide projects such as the 50th anniversary of Duke's integration, the 50th Anniversary of the Allen Building Takeover in 2019, and the John Hope Franklin Centenary.

Before joining Duke, Camille worked as an investigative journalist, and wrote about hate groups and diversity issues at the Southern Poverty Law Center. Camille is originally from Connecticut and holds a Master of Science degree in journalism from Quinnipiac University and has attended both Yale University and Southern Connecticut State University.
