Bio:
Genille Anderson is the inaugural Associate Dean of Students for Graduate and Professional Student Services at Duke University. In this role, she leads the Division of Student Affairs in advancing initiatives that support the graduate and professional student community.

Before assuming this position, Genille served as the Director of Student Services and Program Development for the Master of Public Policy (MPP) program at Duke's Sanford School. There, she oversaw academic advising, co- curricular programming, onboarding, orientation, and graduation support for MPP students.

Prior to her return to Duke in 2017, Genille was an instructor and academic advisor at Zayed University in Dubai, where she taught courses in information literacy and career exploration. She also designed and implemented the university's academic advisor training program for new faculty. Earlier in her career, she held roles in Residence Life at Duke University and William Peace University, and worked in Student Affairs at UNC-Wilmington, supporting multicultural student organizations.

Genille holds a bachelor's degree in communication studies from UNC-Wilmington, and a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from NC State University.
