Bio:
Juli Cooney, Director of Administration and Operations for the Major & Leadership Gifts Program, reports to the Assistant Vice President of Major & Leadership Gifts. She leads a team of six development assistants and two development associates, working collaboratively with the Associate Director to oversee Program Coordinators who drive engagement, fundraising, and stewardship strategies to grow donor revenue. Juli manages financial transactions, personnel coordination, and policy interpretation while ensuring efficient operations, tracking fundraising progress, and aligning activities with strategic goals.

Juli began her career at Duke in August 2022 as a staff assistant in the Major & Leadership Gifts Program. She later transitioned to the International Development team, where she served for eight years, followed by two years in the Senior Associate Vice President's office.
